South South Zone – Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Port Harcourt’s fashion scene is on the rise, highlighted by events like the Port Harcourt Fashion Week, which showcases the city’s creative flair. As the “Garden City,” it boasts a blend of cultural festivals and a growing community of designers, making it a fitting venue for the South South edition of the GRID Road Show.

South West Zone – Ibadan, Oyo State

Ibadan, with its deep-rooted history in Adire textile production, remains a cornerstone of Yoruba fashion heritage. The city’s markets, like Dugbe and Bodija, are teeming with fabrics and tailors, reflecting a thriving fashion ecosystem. Ibadan’s blend of tradition and modernity positions it as a prime location for the South West showcase.

North Central Zone – Abuja, Federal Capital Territory

Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, is a melting pot of cultures and styles. Areas like Wuse Market are renowned for their array of traditional fabrics and a bustling community of designers. The city’s infrastructure and cosmopolitan vibe make it an excellent host for the North Central segment of the GRID Road Show.

North East Zone – Jalingo, Taraba State

Jalingo is emerging as a center for fashion innovation in the North East. With institutions like the Bali Cultural Industries Centre supporting textile and garment crafts, and a tapestry of ethnic groups contributing diverse fabric traditions, Taraba State offers a rich backdrop for the GRID Road Show.

North West Zone – Kaduna, Kaduna State

Kaduna’s vibrant arts scene is epitomized by events like the Kaduna Fashion & Arts Exhibition (KAFART), which celebrates local designers and artists. The city’s markets and tailoring traditions, coupled with its creative energy, make it a fitting finale for the zonal editions of the GRID Road Show.
